About Psilocybia

Psilocybia is being built as an independent, science-led reference to the genus Psilocybe. The Psilocybe Index is its structured core: one durable record for each species, connected to the literature.

The project is organised around a question: what is actually known about this species? Missing evidence and uncertainty belong alongside positive findings.

This research edition contains an initial batch of species accounts, each reviewed by the named editor before publication. Coverage is incomplete, and supporting sections still include clearly marked research gaps.

Source checks are recorded separately from editorial review, and both are named and dated. External reviewers and advisers have not been appointed. No advisory board or institutional endorsement is implied.
